Trump and his administration, however, are counting on their ability to numb the public into apathy and submission. By flooding the zone with unlawful acts and outrageous behavior, they seek to overrun the opposition and bludgeon the public into acquiescence. Congress has been shockingly supine in the face of Trump’s campaign of destruction.
